American Whiskey

This is 100% barley mash whiskey but then steeped in hops. It also has cane sugar added o it to sweetened it. I had this blind so keep that in mind while reading my notes. ABV: 40% Nose: Hay, Lemon, pool cleaner, overly bitter Palate: Light thin mouthfeel. Hay, vanilla, bitter black tea, overly bitter, weird green notes.

Background: This is a whiskey bottled by the Michter’s line, made up of an undisclosed Masbhill that makes it neither Bourbon or Rye. Background: This is a pre bottled old fashioned from Watershed distillery located in Columbus Ohio. It has Bourbon, Bitters, Sugar, and Cherry Juice and is intended to be poured over ice and drank.
