Lets get all the jokes out of the way about trashcan berbinz and all that, but this seemed like a fun pour to try just to see if its as bad as all of the media shit storm made their product out to be.
Bourbon 30 is a company that makes custom blends of bourbons for customers, so let’s see how this one holds up.
ABV: 55%
Nose: Runts Banana candy, caramel, cinnamon, pepper, oak, hint of rye spice. A little cloyingly sweet.
Palate: Mediumish mouthfeel. Hot. Cinnamon, pepper, oak, leather, cloying sweetness mixed in with acetone.
Finish: Long, acetone, nail polish remover, oak and heat.
The nose started nice but as I drank through the full 2oz that nail polis/acetone got stronger and stronger. The palate is a hot mess and mixed. I gave this a fair chance and came into it with an open mind but this is not for me.
