This tequila comes to us from Nom 1139, produced in Jalisco it was cooked in a Stone Brick oven, crushed with a Tahona, fermented in the open air with well water before being distilled 2x on a copper pot still. It was then aged in Ex-Bourbon and French oak barrels for 5 years before bottling

This is a single barrel offering from Tequila producer Fortaleza, one of 6 released in the US this year. This particular barrel was chosen by Specs, aged in used American Oak for just shy of 7 months before being bottled. ABV: 43.5% Nose: Vegetal, Brine, Green Apple, Raspberry, Black pepper, faint vanilla, Palate: Lighter oily mouthfeel. Fruits open

This is a tequila, aged for 5 years in a blend of scotch, sherry, and brandy barrels before being bottled. I had this blind, so keep that in mind while reading my notes. This Tequila comes to us from NOM 1414. It was cooked in an Autoclave, extracted with a roller mill, distilled 3 times before being aged for in ex-American oak barrels for at least 3 years. I had this blind, and this is the first Tequila I have reviewed, so keep that in mind while reading
