Background: This release from Luxco was a sourced from a non-disclosed distiller. This bourbon was aged for 7 years and bottled at Barrel strength. The mashbill was 78% corn, 12% malted barley, and 10% Rye. I had blind then was revealed the bottle.
Nose: Leads with a strong sweet vanilla, hint of oak, trace of bright light fruits and honey
Palate: Medium feel, baked goods, vanilla, oak, and caramel
Finish: Medium, slight tannic, Oak and a hint of leather
Rating: 5/10
Guess: Tastes likes your basic bourbon, I would guess some kind of entry level bourbon, a Buffalo Trace, Or Elijah Craig store pick perhaps
Reveal : Old Erza 7, Barrel Strength
