Background: This single barrel of Knob Creek was aged for 14 years and picked by 5 Star Liquors in Orlando Florida. I got to try this blind then was revealed the bottle so keep that in mind reading my notes.
ABV: 60%
Nose: Very sweet, rich caramel, hint of fruits, caramel, and oak
Palate: Thin, hint of the caramel, oak, brown sugar, and some floral
Finish: Long, oaky, leather
Rating: 6/10
Guess: While the nose was interesting the palate was a bit thing good but simple. A 10 year old 50% BT product?
Reveal: Knob Creek Single Barrel Select: 5 Star Liqour 14 years old
Surprising but also very good.
