Background: This is an indie bottling of 2000 vintage Laphroaig aged in a single sherry hogshead until 2018, when it was bottled by Malts of Scotland. A release of just 223 bottles. ABV: 51.8% Nose: Very sweet sherry, vanilla frosting, peat, figs, allspice, grapes. Smells amazing. Palate: Thick oily mouthfeel, peat, hint of medicinal, sherry on the backend
