Sampan is rum that comes from the Indochine distillery located in Vietnam. This rum was made from fresh pressed sugar cane that has been crown without pesticides. The cane is crushed and distilled on a French column still after fermenting for 3-4 days. The rum then rests in steel tanks for 8-12 months. This has been bottled with no additives and is grown from yellow cane.

Rating: 7/10
This is a delightful cane juice rum. Bright, it pops with that lime and apple. Those are tempered by the floral and spice notes and it really takes you a journey that ends with some warming earthiness and brine. It’s just all around great.
