This bottling comes to us by way of the Golden Devil IB brand, which is bottled for K&L. This one is a Jamaican rum from New Yarmouth. The marque is likely the WN, the same as Wray and Nephew Overproof. This has also been mostly tropically aged for most of the 26 years, giving this a ton of time in the barrel in the tropics. Let us see how this turned out.

Rich mouthfeel, long finish, deep flavors. This has all of the standard bearers of an excellent aged rum. It keeps from being too over oaked for me and has rich powerful notes of dark chocolate, savory spices, toasted coconut, and fruits throughout that keep it fantastic. Now as a lover of funk, this is not some wild funk bomb, but such a great quality rum that I can’t help but love it.
