Review #1455; Rum #754
This rum was distilled from molasses made from locally grown cane in Thailand. The rum was distilled on a column still and then aged for 15 years in ex-bourbon barrels all at origin in Tropical weather. It was then bottled with no sugar or coloring added. This rum was imported by La Maison & Velier and PM Spirits.

This is a very good bottle of rum. The fruit brings a nice base level of flavor here, with the ageing rounding out the spices and nuttiness to cut the orange and apricot. Some dark chocolate and toasted coconut also work well together to make a very enjoyable and easy to drink rum. I enjoyed the 12 and the 15 is just as enjoyable. This could very easily be a great gateway rum for folks that has enough to explore or just sip and say to yourself “that’s a good rum”.
