This rum comes from the Rivers distillery located on Grenada’s northeast coast. This rum is distilled from boiled cane syrup that has been fermented wildly and distilled on a pot still. This is the 75% version they sell on the island, not the lower proof version that is exported.

Rating: 9/10
It is Rivers Rum, the lower proof version is practically perfect, and so is this offering. Wildy savory notes, some faint plsticky ones, a bit of fruit, spices. It drinks well below its proof and stands up great in cocktails when mixed.
