Domaine de Lasgraves 32yr 1989 “K&L Exclusive”

This bottling comes to us from the Lasgraves Domaine, which sells to the popular bottler L’Encantada under the Domaine Le Freche name. This was distilled in 1989 from 100% baco grapes and aged unblended in barrels from trees on the property. After spending 32 years in oak, it was bottled without filtration or additives.

ABV: 49.5%

Nose: Raspberry Jam, Cinnamon, Dark Chocolate, Nuttiness, Wildflower, Orange Marmalade

Palate: Thick oily mouthfeel, Raspberry Jam, Nuttiness, Wildflower, , Dark Chocolate, Cinnamon, Orange Marmalade

Finish: Long finish, Raspberry Jam, Orange Marmalade, Nuttiness, Floral, Dark chocolate

Rating: 8/10

This is an excellent Armagnac and a great selection by K&L. Big, bold and fruity this hits those awesome fruit notes, some rancio, and a bit of wildflower that makes for a great drink. The mouthfeel and finish is quite excellent as well.
