This is a single cask of Glenlivet bottled for The Whisky Barrel.com by Signatory Vintage. This first fhill Sherry hogshead was aged for 11 years before being bottled at cask strength with no additives.

ABV: 66%

Nose: Raisins, Plums, Nutmeg, Cinnamon.

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Plums, Nutmeg, slightly bready, Cinnamon

Finish: Medium length finish, Plums, Nutmeg, Bready, Cinnamon.

Rating: 6/10

It’s very good, just very simple. Just a big blast of fruits from the sherry with some spices. Very good if you are in the mood for that but not offering much beyond it. Drinks remarkably well for its proof.
