This Cognac Grande Champagne comes to us by way of La Masion Du Whisky. This cask is bottled at cask strength with no additives

ABV: 51.6%

Nose: Figs, Rancio, Black Pepper, Allspice, Orange Peel, Slight Pear, Raspberry, Cocoa,

Palate: Thick oily mouthfeel, Rancio, Allspice, Figs, Orange Marmalade, Raspberry Jam, Cocoa

Finish: Long and dry. Rancio, Orange Maramalde, Allspice, Black Pepper, Black Tea, Pear Skin, slight cinnamon

Rating: 8/10

This is a superb Cognac. Loads of fruit, great savory balance with some spics as well. The savory notes really send this over the top and make it really memorable. This is quite the treat.
