This is another rum from independent bottler 1423 bottled under their SBS line. This is an unaged rum from Jamaica, likely from the Long Pond distillery, and is their TECA Marque, which clocks in with an ester count of 1200-1300 gr/hl AA. Bottled with no additives, let’s see how this high ester rum does.

Nose: Cement Glue, Iodine, Rotting Tropical Fruits, Banana, Cream, Guava, Pineapple, Cumin, Lemon Pledge Wipes.
Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel, Rubber Cement, Iodine, Guava, Pear Skin, Pineapple, Mango, Cumin, Allspice.

Big fan, no surprises here for that though. I love these super high ester Jamaican rums. They have so much flavor and such a weird collection of flavors too. They can be hard to drink at times with how concentrated they are, but its an experience all rum fans should have.
