This bottling comes to us by way of Lady of the Glen. This Glen Elgin was aged for 16 years in a Hogshead before being finished in a Ruby Port Barrique cask. It was then bottled at cask strength with no additives or filtering.

A delightful dram. Fruity, spicy, and bitter dark chocolate the finish is well integrated and not overpowering (to me). If I had a full bottle it would be sipped on cool fall or winter evenings as that is the kind of mood it invokes for me.
