This is an American single malt that comes to us from Brickway, a brewery and distillery located in Omaha, Nebraska. This has been aged for a non-disclosed amount of time in New Charred Oak casks.

ABV: 43%

Nose: Orange Zest, Pear Skin, Black Tea, Cinnamon, Floral.

Palate: Light mouthfeel, Orange Zest, Black Tea, Cinnmon, Floral.

Finish: Short finish, Floral, Cinnamon, Black tea, Orange Zest.

Rating: 6/10

A very good showing of an American Single malt. I really love the flavors in this, the only things bringing it down for me is the thinner mouthfeel and finish that is far too short. For being aged in New Charred Oak I really appreciate how the Oak isn’t dominating the base spirit.
