This rhum comes to us by way of St. James, an AOC compliant rum distillery located on Martinique. This rhum is made from fresh pressed cane juice then then wildly ferments before being distilled into Rhum Agriocle. This particular bottling was bottled sometime in the 1990’s, so it should be fun to try now.

Very good flavors, this holds up well to many of the Agricoles that are around it proof wise still today. I was not sure if I expected some kind of radical difference in production quality but if you blinded me this and some contemporaries I would have a hard time picking out any discernable differences. A fun look into rhums past for sure.
