Review #78; Brandy #1: L’Encantada Del Cassou 35yr 1982 Cask 187

Background: This single cask of Armagnac comes to us from L’Encantada a bottler of the spirit. This cask of Armagnac was aged for 35 years before being bottled at cask strength with no additives. I had this blind then was revealed the bottle so keep that in mind when reading my notes.

ABV: 46.6%

Nose: Floralness, Sweet but hint of tart fruits, orange, citrus. pears

Palate: Floraly sweetness, pears, strong pears, citrus hint, oak brown sugar

Finish: Pears, citrus, oak.
Pleasant, strong fruity flavors with an overarching floralness. Enjoyable and a nice drink after a long work day.

Guess: This is a Yak of some kind, around 50%, and 12-20 years old

Rating: 7/10
