Review #771; Rum #202: Bielle Canne Grise

This Rhum comes to us from the Bielle distillery located on Guadeloupe. Made from fresh pressed sugar cane juice and then distilled on a column still, let’s see how this high proof Rhum delivers.

ABV: 59%

Nose: Lemon Zest, a bit of moss, orange slice, raspberries, slight olive oil, Sea Salt, Minerality

Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel, Lemon Zest, Moss, Orange Slice, Rainwater, Olive Oil, Sea Salt Minerality

Finish: Medium length finish, Lemon Zest, Moss, Rainwater, Sea Salt, Minerality, Peppery

Rating: 7/10

This is a great Rhum Agricole. Its spicy, Savory, fruity, with some minerality that really knocks it out the park. A delight neat and in drinks I am sure, I will be sure to add this bottle to my arsenal when I can.
