Review #743; Rum #182: Renegade Pre-Cask Pearls

This rum comes to us from the Renegade rum distillery located in Grenada. These “pre-cask” rums are unaged, fresh pressed sugarcane juice rums that have been distilled on a pot still. Each bottling comes from a different farm and cane varietal on Grenada in order to explore the terroir of the spirit and the island.

This cane code can be used on Renegades website to access the nerdiest rum page you can imagine about this bottling, so I have included it for you here.

Cane Code: PC07H21-P1

Rating: 7/10

Another great offering from Renegade, this rum comes with all of the savory notes, olive oil, herbaceousness, pepper, and some faint green apple to round out the sharpness. This is really well balanced and refreshing, easy to sip neat or make a cocktail with.
