This single cask of Worthy Park rum comes to us from California retailer K&L wines as well as Smugglers Cove the Tiki Bar. This collaboration presents us with a barrel that was aged for 14 years in Jamaiaca in ex-bourbon barrels, and is a blend of Worthy Park Light (WPL) and Worthy Park Heavy (WPM) that brings us Worthy Park Medium. Bottled with no additives

ABV: 54%

Nose: Caramelized Brown Sugar, Black Pepper, Raspberries, Pineapple, Banana peel, Raisins, nutmeg

Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel, licorice, Raspberries, Pineapple, Banana peel, nutmeg

Rating: 7/10

Overall, this is a great rum. Nice depth of flavor, the spices and juiciness are really at the forefront here making it a great experience. The oak structure is well managed, as tends to be my apprehension with tropically aged rum once it gets over 12+ years but their cask management was top notch. Overall, a really great from the country that has the best rum (to me)
