This is a single barrel, cask strength whiskey. It was bottled in Vermont and according to the label sourced from MGP in Indiana. This particular barrel was picked for the bar The Copper Shaker in St. Petersburg Florida and I grabbed it on vacation.
ABV: 59.8%
Nose: Rye Spice, Floralness, Raisins, Figs, Pepper, allspice, sweeter baking spices, slight dill. Baked apples, and hint of clove.
Palate: Mediumish mouthfeel, warm, Rye Spice, floralness, spices, black pepper, rich sweeter baking spices, caramel and apple, grassy.
Finish: Medium length, Rye spice, spices, black pepper, apples and hint of vanilla.
These Whistlepig store picks are always good, I may have overpaid for this one but its still a good drink.
