Review #542; Gin #10: 100 Mill Street Gin Lumberjack and Jill Edition

Disclaimer: This is a bottle that was sent to me by the distillery. Being that it is not available in my market and a limited release, I accepted it to review. The sender requested an honest review, and that is what they shall receive.

This Gin comes from 100 Mill Street, and is a limited edition release from them. This gin has been bottled at higher proof. Let us see how it turned out.

ABV: 55%

Nose: Lemon Zest, Vanilla Bean, chamomile, black pepper, orange zest.

Palate: Thick oily mouthfeel. Burst of black pepper, peppermint, lemon zest, vanilla bean

Finish: Medium length finish, blast of peppermint, lemon zest, orange peel, nutmeg.

Rating: 7/10

This is pretty damn tasty. Loads of citrus, vanilla, and spices turned up to a high level thanks to the higher proof. Very well balanced in terms of flavor and heat. It drinks great neat, and goes great in your gin cocktail of choice.
