This is a tasty rye. Good barrel character, lots of savory notes, well integrated oak spice to go with some light vanilla and rye. I want to like this more than I do, but the proof really kills it for me. This is a quality rye and if someone is looking for a really subtle and nuanced well aged rye this is it. I tend to like ryes to be a bit more rye in character with big bold rye spice.
