Review #47; Scotch #6: Glendronach 1995 PX Sherry Cask 3804

Background: This single cask of Glendronach was distilled in 1995, aged for 19 years in a PX Sherry cask, then bottled at cask strength with no additives or Chill filtering for WhiskyBase.

ABV: 54.2%

Nose: Strong Plums, dark fruits, sherry, honey, grapes, ethanol

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, dark furtis, sherry, honey, baking spices, burnt oak, Sulphur hint

Palate: Long, dark fruits, creamy vanilla, sweet burnt oak.

Delicious, Sweet, easy drinking. First Glendronach for me and now I am a fan. Now my life will be more expensive I have been told.
