Background: This is a blended rye from High West, the blends being made of the following components:
6 Year MGP Rye
16 Year Barton Rye
Batch no: 16J28
ABV: 46%
Nose: Rye spice, apple, hint of honey, vanilla and oak
Palate: Medium mouth feel, rye spice, apple pie, burnt sugar and oak. Complex
Finish: Medium, Rye spice, oak, vanilla and apple that mixes well.
Well balanced between the Sweet and spice. Judging by the emptiness of the bottle I really enjoy this, I wish it was on the cheaper side but I can’t see myself not having this on hand at most times. A comfort drink for me.
