Review #41; Bourbon #25: Russel’s Reserve SiB Gallenstein #10

Background: Barrel #322, Rickhouse K, Floor 5. This barrel was selected by the Gallenstein group in Cincinnati.

ABV: 55%

Nose: Rich sweet vanilla, brown sugar, oak, tobacco leaves, spiciness, hint of honey

Palate: Rich sweet vanilla, brown sugar, a little heat, transitions to the oak, spice, hint of leather and the tobacco leaves.

Finish: Medium, a nice mix of rich warm oak, vanilla sweetness that is a little creamy and spiciness

A pleasant mix of sweet and spice, WT does it well again. This is well flavored and balanced and I will enjoy this bottle all the way through
