Ballechin is an aggressive and abrasive kind of experience. Rich, heavy meaty peat assaults you from the get go with some ash throw in. However, the added in sherry barrel, that held what we presume is Laphroaig at some point makes for a rich experience. Balanced out by some delicious fruits this is a killer bottle, and one that I will miss when it is gone.
