This comes from a palengque that is at 5,000 feet elevation and made by Mezcalero Pablo Vasquez Garcia. This is mescal is made from 100% espadin. This is the first part of a series on Nuestra Soledad offerings so let’s see how this first one holds up.

Rating: 6/10

This is a tasty bottle. Good balance, nice flavors, and it has a bit of pop when it comes to the spiciness and the fruit flavors. The finish is on the shorter side, which brings it down a bit for me.
