Review #354; Scotch #130: Bunnahabhain 12yr 2007 Signatory Vintage

This is an offering from IB Signatory vintage of Bunnhabhain. It was aged for 12 years in a first fill sherry cask. It was bottled at cask strength, with no color added and was non-chill filtered.

ABV: 58.5%

Nose: Strong tart berries, light fig, heavy baking spices of nutmeg and allspice, cereals,

Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel. Strong figs, plums. Heavy baking spices, allspice, nutmeg, cinnamon hint. Brown Sugar,

Finish: Medium length, Heavy Dark Fruits, dark chocolate hint, plum, allspice, peppery.

Rating: 6/10

This is a nice bottle. It hits the notes you want in a ff-sherry aged scotch. A nice sherry bomb like this would be nice to have on the shelf.
