Review #347; Scotch #127: Cadenheads Club 2019 20yr Blended Scotch

This is a release for Cadenhead’s Club Members, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2019 this blend was aged in a Sherry hogshead and a Sherry butt. There was 500 bottles produced.

ABV: 44.6%

Nose: Light fig, dark chocolate, honey, baking spices.

Palate: Medium/thinnish mouthfeel. Light Plum, honey, dark chocolate, light Sulphur, brine.

Finish: Short, dark fruits, some light vanilla and honey. Dark Chocolate.

Rating: 5/10

This is a straightforward and good blend. Not the best blend I have had, but perfectly acceptable and would be a nice bottle to have on hand when you want something good, but don’t want to have to focus on it.

1 | Disgusting | So bad I poured it out.

2 | Poor | I wouldn’t consume by choice.

3 | Bad | Multiple flaws.

4 | Sub-par | Not bad, but better exists.

5 | Good | Good, just fine.

6 | Very Good | A cut above.

7 | Great | Well above average

8 | Excellent | Really quite exceptional.

9 | Incredible | An all time favorite

10 | Perfect | Perfect
