Review #335; Scotch #121: Blackadder Red Snake Cask #50

This is a sourced cask from IB Blackadder, it is a whiskey that was aged in a FF bourbon cask. It was bottled with no color added, non-chill filtered, and bottled at cask strength.

ABV: 59.8%

Nose: Cereals, honey, vanilla cream, Musty, Hay,

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, a bit waxy, Cereals, Malt, must, honey, black pepper.

Finish: Medium Length, black pepper, musty corn, vanilla, toffee, tart

Rating: 6/10

This was well chosen, malt forward again it reminds me of Clynelish or something similar. My only complaint with Blackadder in the US is the price, but they do a good job of picking delicious casks.
