Review #332; Rye #43: Pinhook Cask Strength Rye

This is a CS Rye offering from Pinhook that was sourced from 3 Year old MGP rye.

I took down these notes blind, and then was revealed the bottle, so keep that in mind.

ABV: 57%

Nose: Faint Nose, slight spice, Green Apple, Herbal

Palate: Medium Mouthfeel, Rye Spice, Green Apple, Slight Herbalness, spearmint,

Finish: Medium length, warm, rye spice, herbal, black pepper

Rating: 6/10

Guess: This is a rye, 80%+ rye mashbill, 4-6 years old, and between 50-55% abv. New Riff SiB Rye?

Pretty close for totally blind. I love a good rye and this scratches that itch for a high rye offering.
