This is a 10 year old Bunnahabhain bottled for The Whiskey Barrel, aged from 2009 to 2019 in a First Fill Olroso sherry barrel. No color added, and bottled at cask strength.
ABV: 57.1%
Nose: Heavy Plum, Apricot, Allspice, black pepper, honey,
Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel, Heavy Plum and baking spices, black pepper, figs, toffee
Finish: Medium Length, warm, citrus, plum, baking spices, black pepper.
Rating: 7/10
Hard to go wrong with sherry finished Bunna, and Im generally a big fan of anything finished or aged in Oloroso. This is a winner in my book.
