Review #326: Rye #43: Whistlepig 10yr “Swine Merchants” K&L Select Barrel #2447

This is a single cask offering from Whistlepig of a 10 year age stated cask strength sourced rye, from either Canada or MGP, I am not really sure. So let’s see how tasty it is.

ABV: 58.7% ABV

Nose: Strong Green Apple, Pipe Tobacco, Vanilla, Herbal, Black Pepper,

Palate: Medium Mouthfeel, Oak Spice, black pepper, vanilla, faint green apple, pipe tobacco

Finish: Medium Length Warm, Green Apple, Oak Spice, light Vanilla, leather

Rating: 7/10

Whistlepig continues to impressive me with strong, punchy, rye at good prices for the product. They really know how to pick their barrels, regardless of the source.
