Review #313; Scotch #112: Blackadder Bunnahabhain 10yr

This is a Bunnahabhain offering from IB Blackadder form their raw cask series. This was aged for 10 years with a sherry cask finish. Let’s see how it tastes.

ABV: 61.4% ABV

Nose: Malty, oily, slight dark chocolate, Brine, slight fig.

Palate: Medium oily mouthfeel. Brine, slight malt, dark chocolate. Fig. Slight Plum. Allspice

Finish: Medium length, malt, dark chocolate, fig, brine., allspice.

Rating: 7/10

I really like this. The dark chocolate and brininess play well with the underlying spirit. Another good showing from Bunna and Blackadder.

2 | Poor | I wouldn’t consume by choice.

3 | Bad | Multiple flaws.

4 | Sub-par | Not bad, but better exists.

5 | Good | Good, just fine.

6 | Very Good | A cut above.
