Review #280; Scotch #95: Glendronach Revival 15yr (2018)

This is the return of the Glendronach 15, this one being aged for 15 yeas in ex-Olroso and ex-Px barrels.

ABV: 46%

Nose: Lively Nose, Raisins, Figs, plums, red berries, Black Pepper.

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Figs, red berries, slight Sulphur, raisins, allspice, slight chocolate.

Finish: Medium length, moist, red berries, tart blueberries, plums, allspice.

Rating: 6/10

Overall it’s pretty nice. It has good sherry notes and is a good drink. I have not had the previous release so I have no way to compare against the discontinued 15, but overall I would not mind having a bottle of this on hand.
