Review #203; Mezcal #7: Las Perlas Racicilla Jalisco

Las Perlas de Jalisco Costa Raicilla

This is distilled by Mestro Raicillero Santiago Diaz Ramos. This Racilla is made from single-orgin agave verde (sp. Angustifolia) and Amariiloo (Rhodacntha) grown for over 12 years.

Lets dive in and see how it holds up!

ABV: 48%

Nose: Strong Raspberry and other berries, floral, Green Peppers,

Palate: Medium and oily mouthfeel, Strong Raspberry and strawberry, tart lemon zest, floral, green peppers, light smoke

Finish: medium, warm strong peppers, slight smoke, zest, and floralness.

This fruitiness of this is very much balanced out by the peppers and the lemon notes in it. Very tasty and leaves you wanting more with this peppery lemony finish that lingers with a touch of floralness. This all comes together to provide something that is quite tasty.
