Review #161; Rye #30: Whistlepig 10yr Total Wine Selection

This is a sourced rye from Whistlepig, presumably Canada from the back label but I think we all know how well WP labels their bottles. Let us dive in and see how this holds up!

ABV: 57.3%

Nose: Rye Spice, Herbal, Grass, Slight Green Apple, Vanilla

Palate: Medium Mouthfeel, Rye Spice, Green Apple, Vanilla, Light black pepper,

Finish: Medium Length Finish, Strong Spice, Green Apple, Vanilla. Black Tea Rating: 7/10

This is more of a fall/winter drink (its chill like a nice fall day out right now), but these WP picks I’ve had have yet to disappoint. Good rye flavors tempered by some sweetness from the bourbon finish. Keep sending these my way

1 | Disgusting | So bad I poured it out.

2 | Poor | I wouldn’t consume by choice.

3 | Bad | Multiple flaws.

4 | Sub-par | Not bad, but better exists.

5 | Good | Good, just fine.

6 | Very Good | A cut above.

7 | Great | Well above average

8 | Excellent | Really quite exceptional.

9 | Incredible | An all time favorite

10 | Perfect | Perfect
