This is a single cask offering from Compass Box, who married their artist blend into a sherry cask for slightly under a year and a half. This barrel was picked by The Party Source in Northern Kentucky, lets see how it stands up!

ABV: 49%

Nose: Cereals, Honeycomb, Plums, Grapes, nutmeg, toffee, vanilla

Palate: Medium mouthfeel, Honeycomb, Cereals, tart blueberries, toffee, nutmeg, allspice,

Finish: Honey, Plums, Vanilla, Toffee, pepper, allspice, and nutmeg.

Rating: 7/10

I’ve enjoyed this bottle (as you can see from the empty one). The sweetness is well balanced with some tartness and Sulphur hints and the sherry marrying gives it a nice balance of flavors. This punches well above its weight and price for me.
