Background: This Single malt from Clynelish has been selected by the SMWS and aged for 14yrs ina 2nd fill Sauternes cask before being bottled at cask strength with no additives or chill filtering.
ABV: 56.8%
Nose: Light fruits, floral wildflowers, malty grains, black tea/ black pepper, honey.
Palate: Thick mouthfeel, plums, oak, pepper, black tea, lemon, citrus,
Finish: Medium length, pepper, honey, floralness
The flavors mix well, thick mouthfeel, fruity, floral. This is easy to drink and interesting. I’ve had a few Clynelish offerings and its becoming one I want to explore more.
