Review #107; Scotch #26: Highland Park 13 year 2004 Ohio Single Cask

Highland Park “Heart of it All” 13

This is a single cask offering picked by the state of Ohio.

Distilled: 2004

Bottled: 2018

Cask Type: Refill Sherry Butt

ABV: 63.2%

Nose: Fruitcake, dark berries, baking spices, citrus,

Palate: Heat, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, dark berries, leather.

Finish: Medium, Cloves, berries, leather, oak, and other baking spices.

This is alright, it reminds me of the Glenlivet Naduraa Olroso, similar notes and feel from the two. The price of this far exceeds my enjoyment and Im glad I split this with some friends.
