This is a single cask of Armagnac from the independent bottler L’Encantada. This was aged for 27 years in oak in a wet cellar before being bottled at cask strength with no additives.
ABV: 50.8%
Nose: Allspice, Cinnamon, Black Tea, apple peel, figs, earthy
Palate: Medium mouthfeel, blueberry, Cinnamon, Allspice, Black Tea, earthy
Finish: Medium length finish, earthy, blueberry, cinnamon, black tea, allspice
Rating: 7/10
A great expression. The oak is well integrated, the fruits really pop, and the faint earthy note that pops in and out tie it all together.
