Raising Glasses Manora 9 Year Thailand Rum

Review #1138; Rum #457

This bottling comes to us from Raising Glasses, an American independent bottler who is doing rums in 375ml bottles as well as American Single Malt and Scotch in full size bottles.

This bottling is a blend of two different single casks from Thailand. The rum was distilled from molasses on a column still, aged for 5 years in Thailand, 4 years in the UK, and bottled at a high proof with no additives.

This is just a very good, tasty rum. Nice flavors, good oak influence, flavors that work well together. The sum of the parts, for me, works a bit better than the casks on their own and this is one of those to just have around to enjoy.
