Raising Glasses is an independent bottler out of Massachusetts that focuses primarily on Rum and Single Malt Spirits, with their rum bottlings coming in a 375 ml format.

This rum comes from Trinidad Distillers Limited and is of the TML Marque. This rum was distilled from molasses on a column still and aged for 15 years in Trinidad before ageing another 6 years in the UK. It was then bottled at cask strength with no additives.

Finish: Long length finish, Star Anise, Black pepper, Raspberry Compote, Passion Fruit, Orange Peel, Hydraulic Fluid

Rating: 9/10

I’ve been a fan of the various old TDL rums I’ve had, but none of them have popped like this one. The years of tropical ageing have done this distillate well as it is still incredibly bright and fruity. Yeah this is one of my favorite rums I’ve had this year and I am glad I was able to spring for a bottle.
