Review #1292; Rum #597
Here we have a bottling from La Maison & Veiler under the Papalin line, a bottling of rums that creates blends of rums from multiple distilleries from the same country. In this case, tese rums come from Jamaica. This rum is a blend of rum from Worthy Park WPL (60-119 gr/hlPA), Long Pond STCE (550-700 gr/hlPA), and Hampden C<>H (1,300-1,400 gr/hlPA). This rum was distilled in a pot still and aged for 5 years in Jamaica before being bottled with no additives.

I am incredibly impressed. This blend is an excellent example of high ester rums but it doesn’t veer into the overly industrial side of things. Great tropical fruits, spices, and a touch of that weird glue funk to bring it all together. The aroma fills the room as soon as your pour it.
