Review #1070; Rum Review #398
This is a rum that is distilled at the Longueteau distillery on the island of Guadeloupe. This limited edition bottling of unaged rums was done for the Route de Rhum 2022, a race that connects Saint-Malo to Pointe-à-Pitre takes place every 4 years. This rhum is a blend of two distillates; one distillate comes from a plot with Red cane that experiences a maritime climate. The other distillate was planted with blue cane and has a humid climate. After blending this rhum rests for 8 months and is slowly reduced to the bottling proof with no sugar added.

Another great, slightly different, and highly affordable unaged rhum from Guadeloupe, which easily makes my favorite agricole. Fruity, grassy, and a bit of spices makes for an enjoyable experience that shows depth and balance.
