Review #1068; Rum Review #396
This rum comes to us from the Foursquare distillery located on the island of Barbados. As part of the Exceptional Cask Series, this is the yearly vintage release from Foursquare. These rum state a vintage (2010 here) and they are aged for 12 years in Barbados in ex-bourbon casks. They are then blended and bottled at high proof with no additives.

Another great rum from Foursquare so no surprises here. I don’t rush out to buy each vintage and release, but I tend to keep a bottle of ECS on hand. It is usually these vintages as I find them the best representation of the style and generally my favorite to enjoy (outside a handful of the fun finishes). I still stand by it not being the most exciting style of rum, but it is well crafted and usually good. (Plus, they need our support against Plantation and their sugar added bullshit they are trying to pull at WIRD.)
