Review #1429; Rum #728
This bottling from the Flag Series, put together by LMDW, comes from Ghana. This is a cane juice rum that was fermented naturally for 3 days before being distilled on a copper pot still. It aged at origin for 1 year then in Europe for another 3 years. It was then bottled at cask strength with no additives for the USA market.

A very savory and spice driven profile here. I like it though, out of left field compared to many rums. It still has an underlying vegetal nature with a nice amount of brine too.
