Review #1198; Rum #512
Here we have a single cask of rum from Trinidad Distillers Limited. This rum was distilled from molasses on a column still in 1999. It then aged in oak till 2020 when it was bottled at a high proof for The Whisky Cask Company. This was likely aged mostly in Europe.

A great example of some of the rums that TDL can put out. This is just that classic star anise / raspberry flavor profile with a touch of salinity. It’s not as complex as the other TDL’s Ive tried and is missing a touch of that industrial component, which would have taken it to that next level for me.
